GP Net Earnings

March 2016 “All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to delivery NHS services to patients at each practice.  The average pay for GPs working in The Banks Surgery in the last financial year was £59,082 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 1 part time GP and 2 locum GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months”.

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g average pay) for GP's working to deliver NHS Services to patients at each practice.  The average pay for GP's working at the Banks Surgery in the financial year April 2020 to March 2021 was £56532 before tax and National Insurance.  This is for 2 Fulltime GP's and 3 locum GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months. March 2022
