Adrian is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with many years experience of working in A&E, as a paramedic and in General Practice.  He is a prescriber and works closely with the GP’s in the practice.

Nurses

Practice Nurses are qualified and registered nurses. they can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living, blood pressure checks and dressing. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailments clinics and carry out cervical smears

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare Assistants support Practice Nurses and GP’s with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They are also qualified for Ear Syringing, Pill Checks, ECG’s along with many other tasks. They may also act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Physician Assistants

A Physician Assistant (PA) work alongside our GPs in the diagnosis and management of patients. They may diagnose illnesses, develop and manage treatment plans, offering advice to patients on preventative care and best health practices.

Pharmacists

Clinical pharmacists can assist with a wide range of medication queries and switches.

Additional PCN Staff

We currently have extra staff assigned to us and may be the most appropriate clinician to help with any queries or concerns.
